Hockey fans know that the Young Guns debut of No. 1 draft pick Connor McDavid is a big deal with the arrival of 2015-16 Upper Deck Series 1 this week.
But for those of you who might not realize how big of a deal he is, we present these eBay sales prices for copies of card No. 201 in the set.
That top sale on the eBay screenshot went for $220, while sales of $219.99, $260.55, $250, $224 … well let’s just say there have been 28 sales of the card — so far — with most of them around $200.
Sure, some might have buyer’s remorse. Some might not pay (despite the auctions being binding agreements). And, of course, there are more to come.
But Mr. Connor McDavid is impressive so far, isn’t he?
