The Basics: The main thrust here will be Material Signatures cards for players now in the NFL, NBA and the minor leagues working toward MLB. These on-card auto and event-worn memorabilia cards will be numbered to no more than 99 copies with 1/1 printing plate parallels, too. For football, there will be brand logo cards limited to just two for the likes of Marcus Mariota, Jameis Winston, Amari Cooper, Todd Gurley, Melvin Gordon and others. For basketball, there will be the same scarce parallels with a lineup that includes D’Angelo Russell along with other notable NBA picks from the college ranks. For baseball, it’s the same with a group that includes Dansby Swanson, who was the No. 1 pick this year. … As with any high-end, there will be booklet cards and these will showcase the top young guys with an auto and jumbo memorabilia piece. … For memorabilia collectors, there will be Team Trios inserts combining three players from the same schools with prime parallels limited to 10.
… Legends have a place here, too, with National Treasured Cuts — a lineup that will include Jackie Robinson, Knute Rockne, Sammy Baugh, Tony Gwynn, Red Grange, Otto Graham and Doak Walker to name a few. These will all be limited to no more than 49 copies. … Notable Nicknames also get a run here with on-card autos accented by memorable monikers for greats like Will “The Thrill” Clark, “The Texas Rose” Earl Campbell an “Johnny Football” Johnny Manziel. … Last but not least, Signature Diets will bring the non-traditional autograph showcase for baseball, football and basketball notables just as it has in past NT releases. … Panini also promises game-used college memorabilia in this one from Aaron Rodgers, Richard Sherman, Russell Westbrook, Barry Sanders and Peyton Manning.
