Is nWo making WWE comeback? They’re in latest Topps set + Finn Balor & Sasha Banks’ auto debuts

NWOnashautoTopps released the final checklist for 2015 Topps Heritage WWE on Wednesday and there’s one inclusion that might be buzz-worthy on the morning that fans around the world started buying WrestleMania tickets for next April in Dallas.

It’s the nWo — the anti-establishment faction that changed the wrestling world in the 1990s when good guy Hulk Hogan shed his yellow and red in favor of black and bad-guy “Hollywood” status. Could they be back at ‘Mania? It’s a compelling thought considering the checklist includes an autograph set focusing solely on the group.

FINN-BALOR-2015-Topps-Heritage-WWESeven stars are listed for the nWo Autographs set and topping the list is Shawn Michaels, who always has a presence at ‘Mania but has retired as an in-ring competitor. Joining him are Booker T, Bret “Hit Man” Hart, Lex Luger, Big Show, X-Pac and Kevin Nash.

There are 13 signers on the regular autograph checklist with some newcomers sure to generate some buzz. Signing their first autographs are former NXT women’s champion Sasha Banks, NXT champ Finn Balor, Neville and WWE Hall of Famers Pat Patterson and Alundra Blayze, who might be best remembered for trashing her WWE women’s championship on a WCW broadcast. (She has a single autograph from the past as “Madusa” in a WCW set.)

The rest of the autograph checklist includes John Cena, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Eva Marie and Hideo Itami.
