What’s buzz-worthy: Back for its fourth year, the flagship for Topps’ American soccer presence will arrive with what the company calls “a consumer-friendly price point” while keeping three hits in every hobby box.

The Basics: The standard set will include 200 cards — a mix of veterans and newcomers — with each card having a Blue (/TBD), Orange (/25) and 1/1 Black and printing plate parallels. The set will include short-printed image variations as well as MLS All-Stars, Presence of the Pitch and Rooted Rivalries inserts. Each of these will have Orange, Red (/5) and 1/1 Black and plate parallels. … Autograph collectors can chase standard autographs of the base cards available with Green, Orange, Red and 1/1 Black parallels along with Admired Alumni autos and Focal Point autos. The last two will only have two types of parallels — Orange/Red and 1/1 Black. … For memorabilia fans, there will be Jumbo Relics with Orange, Red, Black and plate versions along with Team Colors Relics that will focus on parts of the teams’ shields. Also to be found are Sketch Patch cards that will be 1/1 creations.
