Topps’ final World Series releases recap moments & Royals’ title

ToppsKansasCityRoyalsSetFans of the Kansas City Royals and their successful run to the World Series have two more options from Topps as the company has released an oversized set for the team and re-issued all of its Postseason Moments wall art in one smaller set.

The Royals release includes 10 cards that are all 5x7s and it can be found in two versions only on Topps.com. The standard set is limited to 199 copies and sells for $24.99, while a Gold version is limited to 49 copies at $49.99. Each set includes a team card as seen above along with cards of Eric Hosmer, Mike Moustakas, Johnny Cueto, Alex Gordon, Wade Davis, Lorenzo CainSalvador Perez, Alcides Escobar and Edinson Volquez.

The Postseason Moments prints have been documented by The Buzz a few times in the last couple of weeks but now they can be collected all at once as 5x7s. This time, there are moments from several teams in the 28-card release and, based on there being three versions of the set, it seems Topps predicts more interest here than in the Royals-only release. This set is available in standard (/99 for $49.99), Silver (/49 for $99.99) and Gold (/10 for $199.99) versions.

Players found in this one include Alcides Escobar, Alex Gordon, Anthony Rizzo, Carlos Correa, Christian Colon, Clayton Kershaw, Curtis Granderson, Dallas Keuchel, Daniel Murphy, David Wright, Eric Hosmer, Jacob DeGrom, Jake Arrieta, Johnny Cueto, Jose Bautista, Kris Bryant, Kyle Schwarber, Lucas Duda, Matt Harvey, Michael Conforto and Troy Tulowitzki. Some players have as many as four cards in the set.
