World Wrestling Entertainment has been known for some controversial moments in television history that included intense matches, risqué segments, countless “Stone Cold” Steve Austin middle fingers, exploding limos, Katie Vick and plenty more.
But this? This is just ugly.
WWE launched a line of ugly sweater-inspired sweatshirts on Friday, giving those gatherings a new twist on the trend of hideous holiday attire — a twist with some muscle and some attitude.
The shirts are available for 10 stars on the WWE roster — Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, Paige, Nikki Bela, Roman Reigns, Kevin Owens, Brock Lesnar, John Cena, Dean Ambrose and Brie Bella — and cost $29.99 via WWEShop.com.
Will they have the appeal of those found for sports teams elsewhere? Maybe the idea of Suplex City or Fight Owens Fight brings a twisted take on the holiday spirit that many people out there can appreciate.
We bet that Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar approve.
