It’s no secret that Ringo Starr isn’t a fan of signing autographs — even though he’s done so thousands of times up until a few years ago when he posted a video on his website saying “no more.”

But now The Beatles’ drummer is signing just 250 copies of “Property From The Collection of Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach” which is the auction catalog box set for the upcoming sale of his memorabilia collection though Los Angeles-based Julien’s Auctions.

How much?

BeatlesDrumKitUnsigned, the two-piece hard-cover catalog will cost a collector $200 — auction catalogs for notable sales can be collectable on their own — but the signed version, which will be signed by Starr and his wife of more than 30 years will cost $1,000. (For trivia buffs, they met on the set of the classic movie Caveman.) For more information on the auction catalog, click here.

Proceeds from the sale of the catalogs will benefit The Lotus Foundation, which was founded by the couple to “assist with a wide range of worthy causes around the world, focusing primarily on family and child welfare, women’s issues, addiction recovery and education.”

The auction is set for Dec. 3-5 in Beverly Hills and will include memorabilia from their careers as well as clothing, antiques and fine art. Among the top items are a Beatles drum kit used by Starr, a guitar given to him by John Lennon and even his first-pressing mono copy of “The White Album.” To view items in the auction, click here.
