What’s buzz-worthy: One of Topps memorable Star Wars brands from the past returns with a new wave of autographs, hits and more from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away.

The Basics: The brand aims to explore the characters in this long-running science-fiction saga with images and stories from all of the Star Wars films in a base set that includes 100 character cards (some with variations), four insert sets and an assortment of hits that explores all of the Star Wars galaxy. … Base set parallels will be Blue (12 per box), Purple (two per box), Gold (/100) and 1/1 Red. … Insert sets will include Evolution of Vehicles & Ships, Evolution of the Lightsaber, Evolution of Star Wars Comics and Stained Glass Pairings.

Manufatcured Relics will be found signed and unsigned in 2016 Topps Star Wars Evolution with each of the Star Wars factions included — The Empire, The Rebel Alliance, The Galactic Republic, the Separatists, The Jed Council, The Rebels, The Resistance and The First Order. There will be at least one signer per group. … While a preliminary checklist was not released, there will be more than 50 signers for this one and each will have a Purple (/25), Gold (/10) and 1/1 Red and printing plate parallels. … Also in the mix will be dual and triple autos each with the same parallels. … Collectors can also expect sketch cards in the mix.
