After a lull in new arrivals around Black Friday, there are a whopping 13 new products set to arrive this coming week with some heavy hitters in baseball, the college ranks and even non-sports territory on the calendar.
The biggest just might be 2015 Bowman Draft, which will arrive redemption-free on Wednesday with a selection of the newest MLB draft picks in their official MLB uniforms. Autographs for 31 of the 35 first-round picks will be found in this one. For prospectors, this is perhaps the biggest day of the year … every year.
Also arriving on Wednesday is one of Panini America‘s high-end brands, Immaculate Collection, which hits with a new twist as 2015 Panini Immaculate Collection College. This one will include five autographs or memorabilia cards per seven-card box and focus on today’s top rookies in several sports as they were seen yesterday as well as a look back at some legends in their school colors. Among the unusual highlights here? Chin-strap autographs.
For hockey fans, there are a pair of NHL releases from Upper Deck that will give fans their next chances to #CollectConnor. The first is 2015-16 Connor McDavid Collection, which is nothing but the Edmonton Oilers rookie. Every box includes a 25-card set and one oversized card. There are autographs limited to only 17 copies per card randomly inserted into boxes. Also on tap is 2015-16 Upper Deck Full Force, which is a brand full of unusual approaches — diecuts, 3D lenticular cards, acetate and more.
For non-sports buffs, BenchWarmer‘s 2015 Holiday Past & Presents features a mix of new cards and past archival cards in a hit-based brand, while Rittenhouse‘s Marvel Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 2 arrives with one autograph and one memorabilia card per box and the likes of Clark Gregg, Patton Oswalt, Hayley Atwell and Kyle MacLachlan on the autograph checklist.
