Topps‘ UFC trading cards have helped usher MMA more into collectors’ minds as those who focused on the traditional sports saw the dollar signs attached to the autographs and Relics of notable names inside the Octagon.
But a visit to the UFC Store might do that even better as UFC sells fight-used memorabilia directly to the public on a first-come, first-served format.
The fight-used gloves above, for example? They were worn by Miesha Tate during the UFC on FOX Dillashaw vs. Barao 2 card where she downed Jessica Eye via unanimous decision. They’ll cost you $2,999.99 to add them to your stash.
Gloves, shorts, fight-sponsor banners, walkout shirts, walkout caps and other gear are all available.
These gloves were worn by Joseph Benavidez during UFC 187 when he took down John Moraga via unanimous decision. Note the discoloration on the right glove — you can guess what that might be — and you typically don’t see that on trading card Relics. These will cost a collector $1,999.99.
UFC and Fanatics Authentic authenticate most items with bar-coded hologram stickers just like you’ll see in other sports.
The cheapest items from fight nights are locker room nameplates, which can be had for as little as $49.99. Like in other sports, there are also plenty of framed displays available for showcasing of one’s ticket stub from a memorable card or displays featuring a piece of the mat from inside the Octagon just like the Ronda Rousey piece seen here.
Then, of course, there’s a whole selection of autographed memorabilia and displays that, while not Octagon-used, certainly could get the attention of fight-minded fans.
