When the next Panini America soccer product arrives in January, it will bring all the international flair and fervor of The Beautiful Game, but it will take things up a notch in spots compared to its predecessor without a dramatic high-end hike in price.
The brand is 2015 Panini Select and it’s set to arrive on Jan. 6 packing three autographs or memorabilia cards per box along with a selection of inserts and parallels. The previously released 2015 Donruss soccer boxes had just one autograph per box, while Select will include the first memorabilia cards made by the company for its international soccer releases.
Among the parallels in this one will be Camo, above, as teased by the company in recent days in uncut sheet form along with Blue (/299 or less), Red (/199 or less), Purple (/99 or less), Tie Dye (/30 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Green (/5or less) and 1/1 Black cards. Each box will include eight Prizm parallels along with four inserts and one photo variation card. Each pack will pack some type of hit or insert/parallel.
Among the signers and memorabilia card subjects previously announced for this one are Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Neymar Jr., Andrea Pirlo, Luis Suarez, Mesut Oezil, Gianluigi Buffon and Vincent Kompany, while new signers will include Bastian Schweinsteiger, Ivan Rakitic, Juan Mata, Rui Patricio, Santi Cazorla and Harry Kane to name a few. Meanwhile, there will also be a crop of historic autos that is set to include Franz Beckenbauer, Roberto Baggio, Michael Ballack, Alan Shearer, Oliver Kahn and Christian Vieri.
The memorabilia lineup will have its own rainbow of parallels as well as prime and dual-player cards, too.
