It’s a standalone and it’s looking spectacular.
The arrival of 2015 Topps Strata as a standalone brand is today and the results ripped from wax boxes are starting to appear on eBay with some big names but also more affordable ones, too.
(They all just look like a million bucks.)
Strata has been an insert in baseball for the last couple of years — including a selection of cards found in flagship Topps this year — but now it’s a standalone brand with just two cards per box.
Each box includes one Strata Relic and one autographed card — and in every other box, the plans called for the Strata Relic to be signed. Some cards in this one are layered acetate creations, while others are Relics with patch pieces sometimes included.
Here’s a small sampling of what’s been pulled and made its way to eBay … so far. (These don’t seem to scan as well as they look so some are photos. We’ll add more later.)
