What’s buzz-worthy: One of Upper Deck’s longest-running brands in all sports returns on the ice with not only the newest designs and stars of today, but also a look back into the 1990s with some Retro SP designs as well as Upper Deck Updates and Young Guns cards that keep the here and now up-to-date, too.

The Basics: The standard box will include three autos, four Retro cards in the 1995-96 design, four Update or Young Guns Update cards, four Authentic Moments inserts, four SP Legends cards and one numbered chase card. … There will be one Future Watch auto per box, while other signed inserts will include Scripted Stoppers, Great White North and Global Chirography. … Autographed patch cards will be found two per case with veterans numbered as low as 10 copies and with Future Watch cards showcasing rookies. … The Retro cards will also have autographs for five former stars. … Sign of the Times autos will include duals, triples, quads, sizes and eights and be numbered to as few as five copies, while the rookies will be limited to as few as 99. … New this year will be Authentic Moments auto books that offer a bigger look at big moments from the past year. … The standard set will consist of 100 cards.
