Five autographs per hobby box (four boxes per case)

What’s buzz-worthy: Topps takes its baseball cards to high-end levels not seen before with this ultra high-end brand that “will raise the bar for premium card collecting” with a box that packs nothing but autographs and game-used — oh and an autograph of Atlanta Braves rookie Ebby Calvin “Nuke” LaLoosh from Bull Durham, too.

The Basics:
Touted as “an unblemished trading card experience,” every card here will be numbered, use metallic ink “to create an unprecedented look and feel” and on-card autographs on photos that are “meticulously chosen” on a “laboriously honed checklist” to “provide the utmost in collector value.”

Gem 10 Autographs will include players newly signed — guys like Tim Robbins, aka “Nuke” — while Franchise Autographs will showcase top names. These all will have Blue (/50), Green (/10) and 1/1 Red versions. … Arrivals autographs will note players’ MLB debuts for top rookies with inscriptions in some cases, while Golden Engraving will focus on retired legends and their autos. These will have the same parallels, though only the Arrivals will have a Blue version. … There will be image variations for all of these autos as well. … All Relics in this brand will feature MLB Authenticated and stickered swatches. Patch autos will have Green (/10) and 1/1 Red versions. … Franklin Batting Glove Booklets will have jumbo swatches of batting gloves used by players. These will be bonus hits in some boxes. … A preliminary checklist was not released.
