What’s Buzz-worthy: At the original suggested retail price of $120, these boxes were the price equivalent of a pair of hobby boxes but without the one guaranteed auto. Today, they might be the best way to rip a bunch of wax for Prizm parallels of many shades while also building what is a massive set (200 base cards capped by 100 short-printed rookies) considering the number of cards per pack, four. All in all, even without a hit in this box (though it is possible), the sheer volume of Prizms made this one fun. … With the Red, White & Blue Prizms being only found here and not throughout the entire hobby print run, there are some dollars to be found if you find the right names. This box seemed stacked in that regard for the parallels vs. a streaky run of collation for the base cards. (Example? The box didn’t include a single base card from Nos. 1-20.) … The four diecut insert cards also really stood out from the pack here — Buzz would want to see more — but they also offered a reminder about how short-lived some NFL rookies’ careers can be. All in all, this box has plenty of potential even if you don’t find ink — and that is possible. (We’ll see it in other Buzz Breaks of Prizm boxes just like this to come for other sports.) It’s a box to consider.
