What’s Buzz-worthy: At the original suggested retail price of $120, this one was arguably not that hot considering the hobby version’s volume of ink (three autographs per box), but these packs aren’t about ink. They’re really about the Red, White and Blue Pulsar Prizms, which are found three times per pack here. Their retail-only nature, combined with some big names, can make for some decent potential — especially at the box’s current price. … Unlike the NFL and NBA versions of this that we’ve broken here, this box included an autograph — and a parallel autograph with an on-card signature at that. … The Draft Class set (50 cards) runs alongside (and probably superior to) the 100-card base set and we pulled all but two of the Draft Class cards. The Red, White and Blue Pulsar Prizm Draft Class cards of key guys would probably be the top draw besides ink. The previous year’s edition of this set was truly loaded, so this one is probably living in its shadow — and the number of Prizm parallels went through the roof in the standard release of the brand the following year — but there are enough names here that it’s worth considering. If you get lucky on the parallels, you could do well.
