When Upper Deck first teased its High Profile Fans cards of celebrities in its forthcoming 2015-16 Upper Deck Contours set, there was one notable hockey fan who got the attention, Chicago Blackhawks fan CM Punk.
Now, with the release of a final checklist, there are a few more.
Each of the celebs selected for the High Profile checklist will have four cards — a jersey version, a patch version, an autographed jersey version and an autographed patch version.
Joining the former WWE star and aspiring UFC fighter Punk on the checklist will be WWE Hall of Famer Bret “Hit Man” Hart (a Calgary Flames fan), Jason Priestley (a Vancouver Canucks fan), Kevin Harvick (a Los Angeles Kings fan), Kevin Smith (a New Jersey Devils fan), Larry King (a Washington Capitals fan) and Rachel Nichols (a Vancouver Canucks fan).
Four Team Fanatics sets will have the same four types of cards but with Lindsey Vonn (Colorado Avalanche) and Tom Glavine (Boston Bruins) on the checklist. The Hall of Famer and former Atlanta Braves pitcher was a fourth-round draft pick of the Bruins back in 1984.
Contours is scheduled to arrive in hobby shops on Wednesday.
