What’s buzz-worthy: The short-printed subsets are a star here, which build upon a 200-card base set with a variety of looks and approaches while presenting the stars you’d expect and plenty of Rookie Cards from this year’s talented class to build a 364-card collection.

The Basics: In the mix are Color Photos, Wire Photos, Color Art and Black & White Art cards. which will have autographed parallels, while XRC Redemptions will be good for six future prospects from next year’s rookie class. … Also in play here are 36 new SP Authentic Rookie Update cards with serial-numbered cards limited to their uniform numbers. Those also will have autographs. … On the memorabilia side, there will be two, four and six-piece cards. … The typical box will yield eight rookie Color Photos, three rookie Wire Photos, two rookie Art Cards, three veteran Wire Photos and two veteran Art Cards. … The Rookie Redemptions will be found for each of these in both regular and autographed form: Color Photos, Wire Photos, Color Art and Black & White Art. The easiest to pull will be one in 360 packs, while the hardest will be one in 4,000 packs.
