What’s Buzz-worthy: Simply put, Buzz’s first blaster box of the year over-delivered statistically with an autograph (1:60 packs), a Green parallel (1:105), a Purple Refractor (1:151) and even a Maeda base card. What made it even better? Buzz used a $2.50 off coupon from some Walmart Marketside cheesesticks. Sure, the names weren’t ones that will make massive amounts of Chrome-like cash, but what a box. … Some dedicated Bowman fans are calling this release better than those of the last few years. It could be. Buzz will readily admit to not diving into prospecting as rabidly as others, but the overall array of what’s found in Bowman this year is an interesting one. (Buzz also will save some of these details for a hobby box break to come later this week.) Overall, the notion that Bowman is strong this year was reinforced in this blaster box — and it seems to be building upon improvements made to the brand last year.
