Topps is getting in the ring with “The Italian Stallion” for a new line of wall art.
Why? This is the 40th anniversary of the Oscar-winning film, Rocky, which was written by its star, Sylvester Stallone.
There are 32 pieces available in the line — a black-and-white version and a color version for the art with a red logo — and the same two versions (color and black-and-white art) available with a black logo.
The red-logo pieces are all 1/1 prints that are $199.99, while the black-logo pieces are limited to just 10 copies apiece at $49.99. These will initially only be available via Topps.com.
Each of the pieces measures 10- by 14-inches and is printed on fine art paper and is signed by the artist. The red-logo pieces are also signed in gold. Each of the pieces is authorized and licensed by MGM. A sampling of the images can be seen in the gallery below.
