Update: It sold for $179,100 on May 16.

Kobe Bryant‘s final game sparked a few fireworks with his 60 points at the Staples Center, but the show is not over.

The No. 8 added to the floor just for that game, which Bryant signed afterward, is heating things up on the auction block.

img-1218458-mThe piece of Kobe’s final floor is up for grabs via NBA Auctions and already has 33 bids topping $19,000 with more than 12 days remaining in the sale.

The number takes up four panels from the hardwood floor creating a 20- by 8-foot piece. That means it will take some space to display — or that it could create quite a few memorabilia pieces if it were to end up inside basketball cards.

Proceeds from the sale will benefit the Los Angeles Lakers Youth Foundation, which is the official charity of the Lakers and helps underserved youth “reach their potential by providing positive experiences and resources in education, health and wellness and sports.”
