What’s Buzz-worthy: These days, a Bowman hobby box is something often shredded en masse as Chromies seek color, ink and Supers. Why? Well, here’s one example. This box didn’t include anything that outrageous, but it did include a healthy amount of inserts and parallels to show how Bowman is a brand that’s about more than just ink and rainbows. … There are some strong prospects and notable rookies in this one — along with last year’s big rookies now found on the Sophomore Standouts cards. … The International Ink set shows promise of more to come like that, while the Chromed inserts like Turn Two offer some added touches that make for an interesting rip. … This box over-delivered with a Silver parallel, Purple parallel and two Refractor parallels that are tougher than one-per-box finds, according to the odds. … The Gold Refractor of the Top 100 card is a 1:494-pack find. … When you rip into a box of Bowman, there’s plenty of potential — both in the now and in the future. … Chromies seem to be shredding this one well this year and some have said it’s improved over recent years, so boxes may not be as easy to find for a reasonable price sometime soon. That’s something easy to see when you check the prices on autographs from players like Yoan Moncada and Kenta Maeda.
