This year’s NHL Draft is set to start on June 24 and Upper Deck will be ready for the event with a set of trading cards available to collectors.
Cards of past draft picks since, you know, those strict rules about Rookie Cards are still in play.
A set of 16 cards will be made for the 2016 Upper Deck NHL Draft — two players from each of the Canadian franchises and the Draft host Buffalo Sabres. There will be four-card packs available from Canadian shops with a purchase as well as shops in and around Buffalo. There also will be memorabilia redemptions found in packs sent to each region that is part of the program.
