The NBA Finals had already begun when Panini America recently revealed its new real-time trading card platform called Panini Instant, but that’s not stopping the showdown between the Golden State Warriors and the Cleveland Cavaliers from getting a bit more cardboard.
That will start sometime soon as we await Game 5 of the series tonight.
The company teased the coming cards in a tweet and the company has prepared a section on its website for the cards. Will we get a recap of the first five games along with a clincher card if the Warriors win it all tonight? We’ll have to wait and see.
The Instant program had begun with soccer cards for the Euro 2016 and Copa America events and both of those are ongoing. Although the cards are not yet in hand and we don’t know production volumes for the standard cards, some sellers have found a decent amount of success pre-selling the cards on eBay.
