Leaf Trading Cards will be among the card companies in attendance at this year’s National Sports Collectors Convention set for Aug. 3-7 in Atlantic City, N.J., and it revealed its plans for the show on Wednesday.
It will be a four-pronged effort that includes a case-break redemption program, a box-break redemption program, promo cards and an aggressive buying of cards for future buyback products.
For those who break a case of 2016 Leaf Pop Century, In The Game Used, Leaf Metal tennis, any Leaf U.S. Army All-American case or a Leaf Genesis hockey case at the company’s booth will receive a 2016 Best of the National box. Those will include graded Rookie Cards of top names such as Michael Jordan, Steph Curry, Kobe Bryant and new NFL players as well as autographs and memorabilia pieces.
Any two boxes of Pop Century, ITG Used, Metal tennis or Genesis will receive a Babe Ruth Yankee Stadium seat card with an NSCC stamp. These will be numbered to no more than 10 copies.
Leaf’s promo cards will include cards for young stars daily during the show as well as Inscription autos from Leaf CEO Brian Gray. Its buying presence will include tickets for prime drawings every time you sell a card to the company.
