Nolan Patrick is the front-runner to be the top overall pick in the 2017 NHL Draft and the only place you’ll find his autographs between now and then — and then after that — will be with Leaf Trading Cards.
“Leaf could not be more pleased to work closely with Nolan Patrick going forward. Nolan is an exceptional talent and is likely to be one of the NHL’s brightest stars for years to come,” said Leaf CEO Brian Gray. “I saw this as a can’t-miss opportunity for our brands. I couldn’t be more excited about working with Nolan and the team from Titan Sports Management on this long-term relationship.”
The length of the deal was not disclosed, however the company said “Leaf has rewarded Nolan with the highest ever compensation (for a trading card autograph) ever for a current CHL player.”
In his last two seasons with the Brandon Wheat Kings of the WHL, the 17-year-old collected 158 points in 127 games. He was the WHL’s Rookie of the Year last season and helped his team to the league title while winning playoff MVP honors.
Patrick already appears on nearly 100 different hockey cards with 95 of those being certified autographs — all from In The Game products, which are made by Leaf.
