What’s Buzz-worthy: This product takes an interestingly different approach to the base set with a puzzle approach. Every nine cards in the set builds a larger image when placed in a page. These gloss-free cards have a clear simple spot-gloss Justice League logo on each front and all seven Justice League groups are represented on each page of the set — it’s seven pages and that’s it. This unusual approach gets a slightly lower “fun grade” from this collector, though it makes up for it with a meaty roster of insert cards that all have foilboard parallels that add an extra chase. All insert sets were completed in this box, which is a plus, but it didn’t include anything rarer like the other sketch card styles, printing plates or manufactured relics that offer some extra variety. All in all, this box didn’t over deliver in any way — it just delivered like it should.
