Panini Instant, Panini America‘s real-time trading card platform, will be the home for Kevin Durant‘s first Golden State Warriors card as well as a tribute to Tim Duncan after his retirement as part of some new changes the company revealed on Monday night.
Beginning tomorrow — and for only 24 hours — the Durant card will be available with some other tweaks to be seen on the cardboard from the program.
The Durant card launches the off-season moves subset of 2016-17 Panini Instant with the Duncan card set to arrive on Wednesday. Others in the set will be Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade, Pau Gasol and Dwight Howard.
New features will include two new parallels — one numbered to 10 and one numbered to 50. This is in addition to a 1/1, one limited to five and one limited to 25. Purchasers also will be able to buy a 10-count lot in addition to the previously offered five-card lots. New for this wave will be a Facsimile Auto parallel add-on, which can be done for an extra fee.
The company also said that it will have cards forthcoming for the Hall of Fame induction ceremony as well as rookies form the NBA Rookie Photo Shoot making their ways onto Instant cards. Once cards are live, they will be found here.
