Historic Autographs is taking on The Mob with its new trading card set that will first arrive at this year’s National Sports Collectors Convention.
A 60-card 2016 Historic Autographs The Mob set will be available in two ways — via a premium box and a set box — with a soft release at the show.
The premium boxes will include two BGS-graded cards along with one or two autographed pieces. Those will include a well-known mobster, lawman, or actors who portrayed mobsters in movies or TV shows such as The Godfather, Goodfellas, Casino, A Bronx Tale, The Untouchables and The Sopranos.
The set boxes will include a 40-card base set along with 10 of the high-number cards and as many as four inserts. The company also will offer rewards for collectors who get this raw set graded as well as for those who collect the entire graded set. Each 60-set case will include one autographed piece.
Among the autographs to be found in this one will be Marlon Brando, Jimmy Hoffa, Elliot Ness, Al Pacino, James Gandolfini, Robert Duvall, Henry Hill, Joe Bonanno, Carlo Gambino, John Gotti, Robert De Niro, James Caan, Sharon Stone, Thomas Dewey and J. Edgar Hoover.
