New WWE comics teased at SDCC, plus new Mattel WWE toys to come

World Wrestling Entertainment is getting into the comic book ring and it’s at San Diego Comic-Con to prove it.

A partnership with BOOM! Studios begins at SDCC with five blind-wrapped one-page illustration/comic panels available in advance of an upcoming series.

The five pieces will have an illustration on the front and a story told via panels on the back and feature John Cena, New Day, Sasha Banks, Triple H and Undertaker.

Fans who aren’t at the show can land them for $5 apiece — randomly selected — by clicking here. The first issue of WWE: Now. Then. Forever. will arrive as an oversized No. 1 issue soon.

On the WWE toy front, there will be new exclusive figures revealed by Mattel on Friday and Saturday morning at 10 a.m. along with future releases. Check out this video from Ringside Collectibles featuring Mrs. Foley’s baby boy’s baby girl, Noelle Foley, for a glimpse of what’s to come from preview night at SDCC.
