Ken Griffey Jr.‘s induction into the Baseball Hall of Fame has had its share of commemorative cardboard and now it’s got something more.
New old caps from New Era commemorating The Kid’s never-ending trip to Cooperstown and his upcoming number retirement.
A series of two fitted on-field-style caps — the 59FIFTY for cap connoisseurs — with a commemorative patch in both the 1988-92 style that Griffey debuted in as well as the “Compass Rose” logo that arrived in 1993. Those caps are $37.99 apiece via New Era.
For those liking a different style of fit, there’s a 39THIRTY low-profile model with a Mariners logo on the back — something not seen on the on-field models but fitting for a Griffey cap — along with three adjustable models that are cheaper.
