The Class of 2010 when it comes to Bowman baseball cards continues to be a deep one as new stars emerge atop the top arrivals of the past.
Back then it was Stephen Strasburg all day long — well, at least until his injury — and since then names like Aroldis Chapman, Max Kepler, Miguel Sano, Shelby Miller and now Gary Sanchez have emerged.
All of those autos and more can be found inside cases of 2010 Bowman Chrome baseball cards and it’s one of a few cases that can be found as part of a weekend flash sale over on the mothership.
How much? Keep reading.
That one checks in at this price for 12 boxes while also including a batch of USA Baseball cards that has Francisco Lindor and rookies/prospects that include Jose Altuve, Madison Bumgarner, Josh Donaldson, Jason Hayward, Starlin Castro and plenty of others.
It’s not alone as another case has some big names and some big cuts for the weekend.
One of the other cases is a 15-box case of 2013-14 Panini Court Kings, which includes one autograph, one memorabilia card and one rookie along with three inserts per box — if you can find it. (Buzz’s boss says it’s dried up some compared to other brands from that year — and he knows the inventory stats.)
One key rookie here is Giannis Antetokounmpo, who is picking up steam after a season where he averaged 16.9 points, 7.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game. He was a dramatically improved player last year and it doesn’t hurt that he has an international fan base as the 21-year-old is from Greece. His autographs can command some surprising numbers, though there are plenty of rarities and veterans in the brand, too — and many are signed on-card.
It’s also a brand with rookies that includes Steven Adams, Victor Oladipo, C.J. McCollum, Nerlens Noel and a few others of note.
