What’s Buzz-worthy: This brand is a simple but effective one — five signed 8-by-10 photos in top-loaders per box. What makes this appealing? The volume at a relatively low price. (It’s on sale now, too — check out the link above.) You also have a shot at names from all of wrestling history, not just the WWE, and this box shows it with names who aren’t found on too many certified autograph cards. … This box’s headliner is a PSA/DNA certified auto of Mick Foley as Mankind, which is probably the priciest photo but not one that would break the bank. It definitely pays for at least half of the box if sold. The dual-auto of Garvin and Precious is one from the WCCW, AWA and NWA days and they’ve only appeared in Leaf card sets. … The Neidhart is from the later days of the Hart Foundation in WWF when Owen Hart was in the mix and the pink-and-black spandex was replaced with even more color. This photo is a bit grainy in its scan but all are glossy photos. … Konnan might be the least-appealing and least-expensive auto here, but he’s only got 10 different certified cards. … Hall and her ode to Britney Spears is an auto that’s sold for $25 on eBay and she has just one certified auto card. I think the strong gimmick photo helps the value here. … Generally speaking this one really comes down to quality images and decent names. If you get a great-looking photo, it’s a plus. If you get a good name, it’s even better. … There are high-end surprises to be found such as group-signed pics as well as names like Ric Flair, The Rock, Bill Goldberg, Sting, Bobby “The Brain” Heenan, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Hulk Hogan, “Macho Man” Randy Savage and plenty more. … All in all, this box wasn’t the flashiest, but it included autos of a few names that this wrestling collector didn’t have, and it’s one that is fun because of its potential surprises.
