If you’re been to a Walmart, you’ve probably seen these — and if you’re on the Blowout forums you’ve probably seen how they’ve been delivering pretty well.
They’re $19.99 blister repacks of 2015 Topps Finest football — hobby packs from a brand that has an autograph in every six-pack mini box and that can be found even cheaper per pack right here.
But for those without a hobby shop (or the patience for shipping) finding these at retail offer a small surprise. But with the results being interesting, here’s one more break.
There were no hits to be found in this one, but an Amari Cooper Gold Refractor Rookie Card parallel wasn’t an awful thing to find in a hitless pair. A Kevin White diecut, Julio Jones Xfractor and some decent names on base cards between rookies and veterans made it a fun (albeit fast) break with some hit potential. All 10 cards in the two packs can be seen above.
Hobby box prices aren’t too steep for either the mini box or the full box, and without Topps in the game going forward this may be one of those brands that some collectors latch onto for fun until they find something new that they like. (And, again, there have been many, many breaks on the forum showing impressive results.)
If you see one, it might be worth checking out.
