It was 50 years ago tonight, that “boldly going” became a thing and, while there have been plenty of commemoratives for Star Trek released in this anniversary year, some of the newest pieces won’t cost you much at all.
They’re the Star Trek postage stamps — and they’re just 47 cents each.
Released less than a week ago, the U.S. Postal Service has four Trek stamps that are now available with sheets costing $9.40 online or at your local post office.
The sheet of 20 includes five of each design — the Enterprise emerging from a Starfleet insignia, a silhouette of a crewman in transporter, the Enterprise from above and the Enterprise inside Spock’s iconic salute.
