The wait is almost over for new 1967s.
Tomorrow is the official arrival date for 2016 Topps Heritage High Number baseball cards but early rippers and retail rippers have begun posting their results on eBay.
Heritage includes one hit per hobby box with a checklist, particularly on the autograph side, that’s quite strong. (Click here to view the 2016 Topps Heritage High Number baseball checklist.)
The big chase in these boxes is the variation, though, which is what master set collectors seek as they want to own every card possible. To spot those it helps to know which printing batch codes are which — at least until one has enough cardboard to see differences between cards.
Helpful variation codes:
— Base card print codes end with 110
— Action variations end with 122
— Color swap variations end with 123
— Throwback jersey variations end with 988
— Error variations end with 989
Buzz will add to this gallery once more cards appear online as well as add confirmed variations as they pop up.
