What’s Buzz-worthy: Topps Heritage High Number is a product loaded with big names from the past and the present as well as a number of collecting quirks via short-prints and variations and a loaded autograph checklist. Not much of that was found here. The basic set’s checklist has some dry spots if you don’t include the short-prints, where a number of Rookie Cards reside, and this box shows it. It was a stretch to call Tim Lincecum and Adam Wainwright highlights — and Matt Wieters only got the nod since this is among his first Topps cards. The inserts here show you a small sampling of what’s to be found in a hobby box — and the Buzz Break for the hobby box is where Buzz will have more to say on this one.
