Sunday Superstars: Week 3 standouts include Marvin Jones, Dak Prescott, Carson Wentz & more

s-l1600

Six catches, 205 yards and two touchdowns. That was the stat line for Detroit Lions receiver Marvin Jones Jr. on Sunday during a 34-27 loss to the Green Bay Packers.

How good was that career night? As a rookie with the Bengals in 2012, it took him 11 games and 18 catches to total 201 yards — and he only had one touchdown back then. Even last season he had just 816 yards receiving on 65 catches. (Welcome to Detroit.)

Seemingly out of nowhere, he has back-to-back 100-yard games — that should be good for his cardboard, which is pretty plentiful from that rookie season.

Keep reading for more guys who generated some buzz on the field this week.

Trevor-Siemian

— Trevor Siemian The Denver Broncos’ QB threw for 312 yards and four touchdowns in a 29-17 win over the Bengals, which are all stats that will help bolster the few cards he has from last year.

s-l500

— Ezekiel Elliott The Cowboys’ rookie RB from Ohio State didn’t get into the end zone but he did rush for a league-leading 140 yards on a league-high 30 carries in a 31-17 win over the Bears.  His Rookie Cards are likely to remain among the top wants from packs this year.

Hill

— Jeremy Hill Is the Bengals RB back? He had 17 carries for 97 yards and two touchdowns vs. the Broncos. He fell off the radar some last season, though he still had a number of TDs, after a 1,124-yard season as a rookie in 2014. Those RCs are probably a lot more affordable now.

AntonioBrown

— Antonio Brown His Steelers may have been steamrolled but he still caught 12 passes for 140 yards to maintain his star status. No dancing necessary. Check out 2010 wax for his RCs.

evans

— Mike Evans The Bucs WR caught 10 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown in a loss to the Rams. He’s a plentiful and affordable autograph from the 2014 Rookie Card class.

— Carson Wentz  The Eagles’ QB appears to be the real deal after a 301-yard, two-touchdown day against the Steelers. He’s got 769 yards passing and five touchdowns with no interceptions so far this season. He’s clearly leading the pack when it comes to cardboard this season.

— Dak Prescott  The Cowboys’ rookie QB continued his strong start with 248 passing yards and a touchdown along with a rushing touchdown in a 31-17 win over the Bears. Not dominating but still impressive and we all know that anything above average gets amplified in Dallas.
