Four stars from TNA Wrestling will hit Big League Cards in Casselberry, Fla., on Saturday (Oct. 8) to sign autographs for free and help raise money for combat-wounded veterans.
Oh and there will be a charity arm-wrestling match with the shop’s owner, too.
“This event is so exciting,” said owner Alan Narz. “To have TNA bring so many of its exciting superstars to Big League cards will make for a great event and lots of fun. The fact that we will be raising money for such a great cause makes it even better.”
Beginning at noon, TNA’s Rockstar Spud, Moose, Eddie Edwards and its newest Knockout, Laurel Van Ness, will be on hand to sign autographs, take photos and interact with fans. The event will last 90 minutes and include free refreshments and drawings for prizes. All people who attend will receive free wrestling, baseball and Pokemon cards, too.
Moose is a former Syracuse offensive lineman who was drafted by the Atlanta Falcons in 2006 and played six seasons in the NFL.
The arm-wrestling match will take place between Narz and Van Ness, who is the noted bad girl these days. According to Narz, anyone who predicts the outcome at the shop will be eligible for prizes during the event.
“I do not appreciate all of Laurel’s antics in the ring, so it will be a pleasure to put her in her place by driving her wrist to the table,” Narz said. “I do not make it common practice to arm-wrestle women, but Laurel brought this on herself. The fact that she even thinks she has a chance to beat me is insulting. I do not expect the match to last more than five seconds. I guarantee at least $200 to Fairways for Warriors if she beats me — but she won’t.”
