One of Japan’s biggest stars finally has signed.
New York Yankees pitcher Masahiro Tanaka hasn’t had a certified autograph since he came to MLB but that all changes on Nov. 23 with the arrival of 2016 Topps High Tek.
No other details were released by Topps, but this likely opens the door for Tanaka ink to appear in more products.
He appears on more than 1,400 different cards from his entire pro career but has only had a few certified autos from his days in Japan. In three MLB seasons he has a 39-16 record with a 3.12 ERA and 445 strikeouts in 490 innings.
