What’s Buzz-worthy: Playbook is a brand that has a lot of high-end potential in terms of impressive memorabilia cards and booklets but it’s one that doesn’t have a high-end price. It’s still a gamble at about $30 a card, but you’re guaranteed one booklet one other autograph or memorabilia hit and one base card or parallel. This particular box’s only negative is with team collation — two of the three cards are Minnesota Vikings — and it has a parallel auto book and a parallel base card to make it above the average. While the players in this box didn’t wow this collector, the cards are impressive creations and this one shows the potential. The design of the books seems improved this year with a lot of simple touches inside its cover and there are plenty of other cool new cards in other boxes that make this one worth considering now — and close to a no-brainer to try if the price drops later.
