The Topps Mega Box is back — but only at Target stores.
Topps revealed its plans for a 2016 Topps Chrome Update baseball card set on Thursday and, like past years, those cards will be retail-only finds in its holiday Mega Box offering that will have a limited retail release this holiday season.
And there will be some new inclusions when they start hitting stores this week.
There will be five packs of 2016 Topps Update and two packs of a Chromed version, which will be a 50-card set that will be packed with young players, including Kyle Schwarber, Corey Seager, Trevor Story, Kenta Maeda, Nomar Mazara, Julio Urias, Aledmys Diaz and Michael Fulmer to name a few.
This time around there will be Superfractors as well as Refractors (/250), X-Fractors (/99) and Gold Refractors (/50). Chrome inserts will be found for 3,000 Hit Club cards while hits will include Relics and auto Relics. Among those players? Kris Bryant, Anthony Rizzo, Mike Trout, Buster Posey, Bryce Harper, Manny Machado and Clayton Kershaw.
