A big night on the court spawns a big piece of cardboard.
Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson scored 60 points on Monday night against the Indiana Pacers and the dazzling performance is already captured on cardboard thanks to Panini America’s real-time card platform, Panini Instant.
As part of a simplified lineup for Instant, there are just three versions of his card available — a made-to-order version that costs $9.99, a Blue parallel limited to 25 copies for $49.99 and a 1/1 Black version that sold out at $99.99.
Thompson’s feat came in just three quarters with the Elias Sports Bureau noting that he’s the first player since 1954-55 (when the shot clock arrived) to score 60 points while playing fewer than 30 minutes. Only three active NBA players have scored 60 in a game — LeBron James, Carmelo Anthony and Thompson.
Thompson’s cards will only be available for 24 hours — or until they sell out for parallels. You can see all of the cards presently up for grabs as well as past cards by clicking here.
