Free Comic Book Day is still a few months away but it’s never to soon to see what the SWAG will include.
A dozen free issues made for the hobby-shop holiday were revealed by its organizers on Monday with titles from Marvel and DC a bit more secretive than others, which include books from Dark Horse Comics, IDW Publishing, Image Comics, Archie Comics, Bongo Comics, BOOM! Studios, ONI Press, Titan Comics, Valiant Entertainment and Viz Media.
This group of books includes Star Trek: The Next Generation, Doctor Who, Avatar, Spider-Man, The Legend of Zelda and plenty more. A second round of books will be revealed next Monday.
By the time the event arrives on May 6, there will be 50 comic books all available for free with a visit to a participating shop.
