What’s Buzz-worthy: The biggest change here — and it’s a good one — simply is the packaging configuration. A standard box is now a jumbo box of just 12 packs. It’s a meaty brick of cardboard with packs that feel like they deliver well. Whether one’s box delivers with the contents depends on the color or scarcity and with performance over time on the field. Those who prospect heavily will be able to instantly assess a box — at least based on the now — but we’ll see over time how these players and this product fares. The big changes to the packaging alone make it feel more exciting and more interesting to tear into and that part alone is a plus. … This box delivered how it should have with three autos and that’s enough for this collector at this time. Would it have been nice to pull more color or something Super? Sure, but that won’t happen in every box. This one didn’t feel lacking, though it didn’t feel super-flashy, but it did feel like a box with a solid amount of inserts, parallels and one packed with plenty of potential.
