What’s Buzz-worthy: These boxes are loaded with big names and names you might not know because they are stars at the college level. These boxes are loaded with a comical number of inserts — a ratio of four for every one base card — but the key here is two autographs per blaster.  Yes, many of those autos are cheap but so are these boxes ($12 for this one). At that price, it was worth taking a look back. Add a couple more base cards per pack with a slightly larger standard base set along with the same amount of inserts and it might be a perfect release. Sure not all names will appeal to all collectors (that’s the drawback of college sets) but this is a fun variety-filled break that’s a lot more interesting than its NFL counterpart. At this price, it’s a perfect brand for a collector on a budget or a beginner and it’s one with big potential if you land the right autographs.
