What’s Buzz-worthy: The energy of the Donruss line and the twist on the 1990 Donruss baseball design comes to the hardwood and it simply works. It’s not perfect but the overall collecting experience here is one that’s fun, colorful and informative between a beefy base set and a good array of inserts. In a blaster box you get a massive brick of cards, a decent amount of inserts and a hit to top it off. Overall, it just feels good. The only drawback is the readability of the font used on the names — rough on both the front and backs. The back one could (should) have been a simpler, easier font to read to help newbies and non-regulars pick up names easier. … The Orange Laser parallel really stands out here as does the simplicity of the Kings sets. This is much like NBA Hoops but that one truly feels dull or downright boring in comparison to the feel here. Buying a blaster is worthwhile here and if you want even more, dig in on hobby.
