What’s buzz-worthy: Topps’ third release for The Walking Dead picks up where its first left off with the sixth season of the long-running hit show documented on cardboard.
The Basics: The base set here will consist of 100 cards recapping Season 6 all in one set and each card will have five parallels — Rust (/99), Mud (/50), Mold (/25), Sepia (/10) and 1/1 Blood. … There will be three types of inserts — Walkers, Chop and Character Profiles — and those will have the same rainbow of parallels as the base cards as well as printing plates. … The hits lineup will include sketch cards, autographs and Relics. … A preliminary checklist was not released but a number of signers for the product so far were revealed, including Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Norman Reedus, Danai Gurira, Steven Yeun, Michael Cudlitz, Chandler Riggs, Tom Payne, Melissa McBride, Sonequa Martin-Green, Christian Serratos, Josh McDermitt, Tovah Feldshuh, Alexandra Breckenridge, Benedict Samuel, Michael Traynor and Major Dodson. Autographs will have parallels as well, including but not limited to Sepia, Mud, Mold and Blood versions, while there also will be dual and triple autos as well as new auto Relics.
