What’s Buzz-worthy: Aesthetically, Bowman’s Best is a different kind of animal with a modern design that either works for you or doesn’t. What should work in the case of this box was a number of big names on inserts and parallels, a higher percentage of star players because of a tiny base set and a concentrated number of prospects who can all be found with a rainbow of parallel potential. … These use a mini-box format where you’ll land two autographs inside every six-pack box — that’s a plus because it allows for someone to get guaranteed hits and to try out the brand a bit more on the cheap. Ripping this box was a tad more fun and interesting than other Bowman brands released in 2016 and this was a box that delivered pretty well with a top Yankee rookie auto Refractor and some solid finds among the Refractors. All in all this was a box that exceeded my expectations but there’s definitely some bigger cards to land out there in other ones.
