What’s Buzz-worthy: These boxes carry a $9.99 suggested retail price but offer up a very good chunk of the basic stickers here. All are from a 220-card set that’s really comprised of several smaller sets such as cartoons, sci-fi, game shows, reality TV, reboots, talk shows and more found on TV. It makes for a fun mix of things with notables here being cards that spoof celebs such as Kim Kardashian, Drew Carey, Conan O’Brien, Jimmy Fallon and Samantha Bee. A number of them in this one aren’t that flashy but on the whole it’s a fun approach. The array of things found in hobby boxes is more impressive but with these boxes at this price they deliver a pretty good basic taste of the Garbage Pail Kids. It’s a good place to start if you’ve been contemplating them.
